Fruit is small to medium, yellow, flushed and slightly striped.
Common Uses
Cider, bittersweet, some astringency, very high tannin. Acid 0.22, tannin 0.32, SG 1.052.
Origin
A heritage cider apple from England in the 1800s
Pollination
Diploid, fairly self-fertile, pollination may be improved by varieties from pollination group 2 i.e. Abas, Irish Peach, McIntosh and Red Braeburn. Good pollen donor.
