Small European plum, oval, dark purple skin with a heavy bloom, green flesh that becomes amber when ripe. Very sweet, freestone. Fruit is small to medium sized.
Common Uses
Rich yellow flesh, great for eating also for liqueur making, high sugar content.

Production Notes
Popular plum, used for jam, plum wine, distilling, plum cakes and dumplings and eating. Fruit hangs reasonably well, but can blow off in a wind if nearly ripe.
