Medium, oval, bright orange apricot. Good flavour, but can go mealy if left on the tree to ripen. Best to pick when almost fully ripe but still slightly green (fruit should be sweet though skin might still be a bit sour), and finish ripening off the tree

Production Notes
Apricots need protection from frost. Poppicot achieve a uniform orange colour early in the ripening process, so colour alone is not a good indicator of when to pick this variety. Fruit drop, checking for flavour or brix testing will help to determine the right time to pick.
