Medium to large early apricot, orange skin with sight red blush. Good eating, sweet & not too acid, stones have some adherence. Firm texture. Not a very strongly flavoured apricot.

Eating fresh, make excellent jam - not too dark in colour.

Production Notes
Productive, good cropper, fruit hangs well. Apricots generally need frost protection, especially at blossom. Look ripe before they are. Wait until some fruit is falling to be sure they are ripe before you start picking.
Disease Susceptibility
Castlebrite are particularly vulnerable to blossom blight, and the fruit can be prone to brown rot..
