Fruit Description
Excellent medium-sized eating apple. Reddish orange skin with a yellow background, some russeting. Flesh is creamy white, juicy, sweet, and crisp. Very delicious.

Eating. Stores well.
Origin
New Zealand, 1924, bred by John Kidd. Cross between Cox's Orange Pippin and Red Delicious
Pollination
Diploid. Should be pollinised by other mid-season flowering apples e.g. Akane, Bonza, Crofton, Fuji, Gala, Granny Smith, James Grieve, Jonathan, Lady Williams, Pink Lady. Best to avoid Delicious or Cox as they are too close genetically.

Tree is moderately vigorous, spreading and productive.
