Fruit Description
Medium to large, round-conical shape, with a red blush covering most of the fruit, with a stripe. Flesh can be a bit soft, sweet with a sharp edge. Keeps quite well for an early season apple.
Common Uses
Dual purpose, eating and cooking.
Origin
Scotland, 1893
Pollination
Diploid, quite self-fertile. Pollination improved by addition of other trees that flower at the same time, e.g. Fuji, Gala, Pink Lady, Granny Smith.

Early to mid-season harvest, early March
Production Notes
Spur bearing. Tree is moderately vigorous, round-spreading.

Very resistant to black spot (apple scab)
