Heritage white nectarine with very thin skin that gets a red colour over a greenish background that turns cream colour as it ripens. Freestone, skin marks very easily (e.g. by rain). Difficult to ripen well off the tree if picked before it's mature. Bruises easily.

Discovered growing in an Auckland garden in the 1890s, it became the leading commercial variety in NZ and Australia.

A difficult variety to grow and harvest as very thin skinned and prone to marking and bruising.
Disease Susceptibility
Prone to developing brown spots on the skin due to rainfall before ripening, can also shrivel on the tree for no apparent reason.
