Pyrus communis (European pear), fruit is medium to large with smooth green skin and no russet. Flesh is white, buttery and slightly granular, moderately sweet.

Production Notes
Pick when mature but not ripe and then cold store for at least 2 weeks. Tree habit is heavily spurred with little lateral growth. Very heavy cropper, so must be thinned to avoid biennial bearing.
Disease Susceptibility
Resistant to black spot, susceptible to pear blast (Pseudomonas syringae) and fire blight.
