Fruit Description

Small European plum, oval, reddish skin with pale lemon flesh. Good flavour, very sweet, even when not completely ripe. Freestone.

Common Uses

Can be dried for prunes, but also good to eat raw, or cook, e.g. in plum cake. Great for bottling.

Partially self-fertile. Pollinised by Greengage, and any other European plums that flower at the same time (which is very late).
