Pyrus communis (European pear). Turbinate shape, small to medium, greeny yellow skin with a slight russet. Fruit stays green even when ripe. The flesh is fine granted, juicy with excellent flavour.

Production Notes
A moderately vigorous tree with a spreading habit. Fruit stores well, even out of the refrigerator. Trees are slow to bear but when they settle down tend to have heavy crops.
Disease Susceptibility
Susceptible to black spot and pear blast (Pseudomonas syringae), moderately resistant to mites.
