Hedelfingen Cherry Medium, dark red cherry, slightly acidic flavour. Widely grown in Europe, there are better modern varieties that ripen at the same time.
Honeycrisp Apple Medium to large, light green/yellow background with red-orange flush, can have pink tint if grown in good sunlight. Prone to mild russet. Very sweet, witih a light crunch. Bruises easily. Grows in zones 3-9. Extremely cold-hardy (though also grows well in warm and temperate climates). Not very vigorous. Spur bearer Very resistant to apple scab/black rot, some resistance to fireblight and cedar apple rust. Susceptible to powdery mildew - can cause fruit russeting.
Hood Pear Pyrus communis (European pear) Resistant to mites and fire blight.
Howell Howell Pear Pyrus communis (European pear), fruit is medium to large with smooth green skin and no russet. Flesh is white, buttery and slightly granular, moderately sweet. Pick when mature but not ripe and then cold store for at least 2 weeks. Tree habit is heavily spurred with little lateral growth. Very heavy cropper, so must be thinned to avoid biennial bearing. Resistant to black spot, susceptible to pear blast (Pseudomonas syringae) and fire blight.
Hunter Apricot Medium to large, pale apricot colour, light flesh that is firm and has good flavour. Freestone. Apricots need frost protection, particularly at blossom time. Apricots are generally susceptible to blossom blight.

Improved Flaming Gold Apricot Light orange, oblong fruit with strong red blush, juicy softish flesh, freestone, good flavour. Apricots need frost protection, particularly at blossom time. Apricots are generally susceptible to blossom blight.
Improved Foxwhelp Apple Spur bearer Very resistant to black spot (apple scab)
Independence Nectarine Bright red skin over yellow flesh, these nectarines are sweet and delicious. Freestone, the tip goes very dark red (almost black) as they ripen. Heavy cropping, can set a percentage of doubles if tree stressed through lack of moisture during fruit bud initiation. Splitstones can be a problem some seasons.

James Grieve Apple Medium to large, round-conical shape, with a red blush covering most of the fruit, with a stripe. Flesh can be a bit soft, sweet with a sharp edge. Keeps quite well for an early season apple. Spur bearing. Tree is moderately vigorous, round-spreading. Very resistant to black spot (apple scab)

Jonagold Apple Frost tender, spur bearer Moderately resistant to black spot (apple scab). Susceptible to powdery mildew - can cause fruit russeting.
Jonathan (also Jonnee, Jonafree, Jonathon) Apple Distinctively bright red skin, small to medium fruit. Greenish-yellow background colour, can have tough skin. Flesh is white with a green tinge, flavour is sprightly, sweet and juicy. Doesn't store well, best eaten in season. A great favourite with those Grows in zones 5-9. Moderately vigorous tree, compact, spur-bearing and produces spurs easily, also partial tip bearing. Heavy, regular cropper, needs thinning to avoid biennial bearing. No longer a popular commercial variety as it doesn't store well. Very resistant to black spot (apple scab), moderately resistant to powdery mildew
