Bring your secateurs (some people call them pruning shears) and a small branch from any tree (it doesn’t have to be a fruit tree). We’ll send you an email before the workshop with more details about what you need to have on hand during the workshop. If you already own some secateurs—great! If not, and you’re thinking about buying some, we’ll provide guidance about what to buy. If buying secateurs is not on the agenda right now, maybe you can borrow some from a friend or neighbour. 

2️⃣ Learn how to sharpen your secateurs to keep them in tip-top condition.
For this prac session you’ll need to have your secateurs and a sharpening tool on hand. Again, don’t worry if you don’t already have a sharpening tool, we’ll provide some guidance before the workshop.
