Fruit Description
Medium size, dark purple skin over a red ground colour, amber flesh. Colours well before ripe. Good flavour, nice and sweet if allowed to ripen properly on tree. Stores well, semi-clingstone.
Common Uses
These late season Japanese plums have firm flesh and a nice balance of sweet and tart. They store very well in the fridge to eat fresh, but also stew well, and make a lovely dark coloured jam.
