Medium to large, oval fruit, bright orange with very red blush. Flesh is deep orange, firm and sweet. Freestone.
Common Uses
One of our favourite all-purpose apricots, they sweeten early on the tree, hang well and are good for eating, preserving and drying. Highly recommended. Very flavoursome, slight tang, sweet and rich with dark orange, almost red colour.

Production Notes
Apricots need frost protection, particularly at blossom time. A very versatile, reliable apricot, highly recommended for the home garden. Reliable cropper.
Disease Susceptibility
Apricots are generally susceptible to blossom blight, but Rival are not particularly susceptible to disease.
