Common Uses
Cider, bittersweet, with an acid content of 0.18%, tannin 0.29, SG 1.057, good enough quality to make a single varietal cider.
Origin
'Dabinett' probably dates from the early 1900s, when it was found by William Dabinett growing as a wilding (a natural seedling) in a hedge at Middle Lambrook, South Petherton, Somerset.

Self-fertile, pollination improved by Brabrant Bellefleur, Democrat, King of the Pippins, Michelin, Peasgood Nonesuch
