Found at Mock's Orchard, Burwood, Victoria, Australia, 1940s, a mutation of Williams (Bartlett) pear.
Pollination
Beurre Bosc, Nijisseiki (20th Century Nashi), Winter Nelis, Crimson Gem. Not Williams.

Mid to late season.
Harvest Time
Early, -25 days Packham. Mid to late Feb in Harcourt.
Production Notes
Good cropper. Upright, reasonably vigorous tree. It's not unusual to see reversion back to Williams on some branches. As with most pears, pick them mature but not ripe, then store in cold storage for at least 1-2 weeks before ripening.
Disease Susceptibility
Can be prone to core breakdown if picked too late or stored for longer than 3 months.
