Medium sized, bright red apple with a darker red stripe with a light blush over a green-yellow background colour, creamy white crisp flesh. Good quality, very sweet and crunchy eating apple, good size.
Common Uses
Dual purpose cooking and eating. Great in pies. Fruit stores well for short time only, fair keeper for an early maturing sort.

Diploid, will be pollinated by most other diploids that flower at the same time, e.g. Granny Smith, Jonathon, Pink Lady, Fuji, Gala, Delicious.

Production Notes
Strong biennial bearer, needs heavy thinning. Moderately vigorous, spreading tree. Tip bearing.

Susceptible to mouldy core, Moderate to high resistance to black spot (apple scab) so suits climates with high rainfall, not particularly prone to woolly aphid or powdery mildew
