Japanese-type blood plum, small to medium, roundish plum, mottled green skin with a heavy bloom, flesh. Fruit is quite tart, but then is completely sweet and delicious if allowed to ripen properly. Ripen well off the tree.
Common Uses
A delicious late-season blood plum. Semi-freestone, good for eating fresh, bottling, and jam. Keeps quite well for several weeks in the fridge.

Production Notes
These trees can be shy croppers, and can take a number of years to settle down and start producing regular crops. Trees are quite upright.
