It’s time for the excitement and fun of planning new fruit trees to add to your garden or orchard. Even though the actual planting happens in winter when the trees are dormant, preparation starts now, including reviewing how your fruit trees performed over the growing season, choosing new varieties, and considering pollination.

Depending on your climate zone, it’s usually pretty obvious to both us and our fruit trees that winter is coming. While this season often brings warm, settled weather, it’s also the season for magnificent displays of colour as your fruit trees get ready to drop their leaves before winter.

Happy harvests!
