Mid-summer is a time to really make sure your trees are getting enough water and food. It’s the time when you’re starting to reap the rewards of your hard work, as well as getting feedback about what has worked, and what hasn’t, which will help you do a better job next year.
This can be one of the the busiest times of year for harvesting fruit, but it can also be a time when problems emerge, crops may be damaged, and the results of earlier weather events in the more volatile spring weather conditions become evident.
Whether you’re a new grower or an old hand, mid-summer is a time of great learning!
Happy harvests!
