Hi,

Late spring is an exciting time, with the promise of the start of harvest just around the corner (in some climate zones, picking will already have started). It’s easy to get overwhelmed at this time of year with all the jobs to do, the rampant growth, grass to deal with, and fruit needing a lot of attention. This week we cover all the jobs that need doing in late spring, but it’s also important in all the rush to make sure you take the time to appreciate your garden or orchard, as well as working in it!

Fruit grows in many diverse environments and climates, and so depending on where you live you may have to deal with very wet or very dry conditions. This week we go into detail about how to look after your fruit trees in extreme conditions. We also highlight more common pests and diseases that may cause problems at this time of year, and have a look at the age-old relationship between fruit trees and animals.

Happy harvests!
