This is one of our favourite summer desserts, and is one of those marvellous recipes that you can whip up in no time when visitors suddenly descend—they’ll be impressed both with your fruit growing and cooking prowess. Use your imagination, and experiment with adding dried fruit or flavoured liqueurs to the fruit, or different types of nuts, seeds or grain to the crumble topping.
