We have many regular customers who buy apricots from us each year to make apricot dumplings. There seem to be many variations of this recipe, from various parts of Europe, some with soft cheese in the pastry, some with potato, some coated in bread crumbs, and some dripping in butter and sugar. They all sound delicious, and decadent, and despite their differences seem to have one thing in common—every single customer raves about them!

We’ve finally managed to prise the recipe from one of them, so many thanks to Freda for her family’s Austrian version of these famous apricot dumplings.
